Light workshop programme

Investing in female and non-binary leaders, and high-potential women provides them with the development and growth opportunities to help them find their voice and power.

The Light Workshop Programme is aimed at businesses that want to benefit from empowered female employees, the strengths they bring to relationships and decision making and the commercial benefits of diversity in senior roles.

It addresses both recruitment and retention - critical and expensive issues in any organisation.  By creating cohorts of female and non-binary leaders in-house, it provides the basis for female networks as well as up-skilling and enhancing confidence and talents to the benefit of the individuals and the business.

This is a business-critical issue as the 2022 Global Report by Deloitte confirmed there is a long way to go to achieve gender equity within financial services institutions, women hold 21% of board seats, 19% of C-suite roles, and 5% of CEO positions in 2021.  This global data is not unique to this sector but echoed across other sectors and industries.

Growth and Nurture

Tailored for the needs of leaders in your business, The Light Workshop Programme is designed around the two principles of nurture and growth.

  • Growth is about personal development, and supporting future female leaders with skills and confidence to reach their potential.

  • Nurture focuses on supporting female employees through well-being and resilience.

The workshops will engage, inform and connect women with core skills, knowledge and a strong internal network to help them build connections with the business, each other and their strengths.

Format

Typically a cohort is made up of eight women and will include six, 3-hour workshops over 6 months with one-to-one sessions at the beginning of the programme to set goals and at the end to agree on an action plan for the future.

The programme creates an Action Learning Set environment to support women in the workplace, recognise their talents and potential, and celebrate the contribution women can make to any organisation with ambition operating in today’s world.

The programme can be tailored to meet the specific needs of the cohort and can be designed to incorporate key priorities and values of the business.

Personal brand

This workshop looks at how and why understanding how we present ourselves matters.  How when we are conscious and clear we can make the impression we want to have.  In the workshop, we break down the key factors to understand such as values, strengths and what makes you unique to help understand who you are, what you want to achieve, what drives you and how you can present that to the world consistently and effectively.
